ROADTRIP: I drove up to Point Reyes and stopped by Marshall for a sack of 50 oysters and 2 pounds of mussels to bring back home for dinner with some friends. I couldn’t resist shucking a few on the ocean front before hitting the road back to SF. Thank god I remembered my shucker, Tabasco, and Tartine bread!
We also randomly stumbled upon Clover farms and engaged in a one-on-one conversation with the owner about the history of their farm and dairy cows. He definitely put into perspective the importance of quality and awareness of the food we put into our bodies. With beautiful weather and good company, I had a memorable roadtrip away from the city! Today was a good day! =)
