Mi casa: farmers market ratatouille is totally happening: heirloom tomatoes, baby eggplant, zucchini, summer squash, onion, garlic, bay leaf, home-grown basil
Ritz staff meal: fully load baked potato, grilled ribeye w/tomato-cilantro compote, creamed spinach, iceberg salad w/thousand island (couldn’t fit in picture)…we dont mess around here. I love my co-workers!
Tartine bakery: mission, SF. Breakfast: banana cream tart w/chocolate shavings and my favorite chocolate croissant with Mary!
Katz deli: lower east side, NY. Housemade pickles, corned beef on rye, pastrami on rye…delish!
Arizmendi: mission, SF. Just might be my new favorite SF cookie, chunky chocolate chips, crispy yet chewy, not overly sweet.
Zazie: Cole valley, SF. Stuffed french toast w/caramelized bananas and walnuts. And an outdoor patio in the sunshine!
Cherry and peach picking: Brentwood, CA. Enos cherry farm and Peter wolfe peach farm. Time to make pie and jam!!
Trouble: outer sunset, sf. Starting the morning w/a bike ride to the beach, a fresh coconut, and banana bread. I love SF.
Soup Mama’s house: inner sunset, sf. Onion soup — lots of caramelized onions, acme sour batard, cave aged Gruyere.
Hot Cookie: Castro, SF. Some of the best cookies around! I just had these hand delivered to my front door-step for breakfast! (they do not deliver, find your own cute delivery girl!)
Blowfish: the ultimate - spicy tuna, pickled cucumber, pickled jalapeños, a whole lot of other pickled spicy lovin’.
